How LUFS Optimizer Works

LUFS Optimizer is designed to make MP4 loudness improvement simple. Instead of manually writing audio processing commands, users can upload a video, choose a preset, and download a new optimized MP4.
1. Upload Your MP4
The process starts when you upload an MP4 file. The tool is designed for video creators, DJs, podcasters, editors, marketers, educators, and businesses that need better playback loudness.
2. Audio Analysis
The system analyzes the audio to understand the file's loudness behavior. This helps determine how the audio should be adjusted without simply pushing everything into distortion.
3. LUFS Targeting
LUFS targeting focuses on perceived loudness. This is different from basic volume boosting because it aims to make the audio feel louder and more consistent to listeners over time.
4. True Peak Protection
True peak protection helps reduce the risk of clipping after encoding or playback. This is important because social platforms may re-encode uploaded MP4 files.
5. Preset Selection
Presets give users a practical starting point. Some presets are better for YouTube, others for social media, quiet source audio, or safer clean output.
6. File Processing
After the preset is selected, the tool processes the file and creates a new optimized MP4. The goal is better loudness consistency while keeping the sound clean.
7. Download the Optimized MP4
When processing is complete, the optimized MP4 can be downloaded and tested before uploading to a platform.
Privacy and Temporary Files
Uploaded and processed files are intended to be temporary. Files older than approximately 24 hours are automatically removed from the server.
